I am going to hardwire a Dash Cam on my 17 ACLB TRD OR. I want the 24/7 power function but will occasionally need to turn the Dash Cam completely off even while driving (restricted area).

So I'm looking to put an On/Off switch on the lower left dash panel where the rear AC power outlet control button is. There's an empty space to the right of that switch where I figure I can mount the switch.

I've ordered a hardwire kit from Amazon that has the battery monitor in it, but it's basically a Red/White ( or Black) power connection to the fuse box. I'll need to interrupt the power wire from the fuse box tap with this switch.

Any wiring experts out there who can give me a wire diagram for this?

What would the wiring to incorporate the on/off switch look like?

Any recommended sources for Stock looking switches?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Yeah, in my case it's Fuse Block originating Red wire to one side of Switch, then the Red wire to Dash Cam on the other side of switch. Can't see video while at work, but thanks.
