new member needs a tacoma

Howdy, new member gtex here. I want to buy a 2005 or newer Tacoma double cab.

 

You'd probably do well to give a bit more info like 2wd or 4wd, max mileage, location, and max price willing to pay along with are you willing to buy one lifted with 10K worth of doo dads or stock.

Sorry, I'm looking for 4wd near Austin, TX, max mileage: 100k, prefer stock, no upgrades and willing to pay up to $15k

 

That is going to be a tough order to fill. Most double cab models that are in the $15k range will have a lot more than 100k miles, especially if you want 4x4.

 

I test drove the truck in the following ad. Its OK but the steering wheel wobbles/vibrates a 50-70 mph. its a 2nd owner vehicle. slight rust on the underside. The owner told me $10k. I don't know if the vibration is an issue. He said he took it off road quite a bit, should I be worried? What should I offer this guy?
