Is there any place to report bad experiences at dealerships?

Recently had a terrible experience at my local Toyota dealership and would like to share the story so others can realize how petty and shameless they are. Would this be a proper place or is there a better sub forum to post it to?

    Edit for the details:

Basically I bought a warranty/insurance plan on my Keys and fobs as I got it pennies on the dollar from my friend at an out of state dealer. I lost a set. I filed a claim. Cardinale honored it but bitched the whole time about how it's going to take them a week to get paid. As if it was going to the service manager personally. o_O

I like to keep good relations as this is a small town and offered to pay it out of pocket and get reimbursed from the warranty company. He didn't say yes or no, just ignored my comment. Ok whatever. I go to pick the keys up and he tells me they covered everything but 20 bucks of it. Something to do with the cutting of the new key, etc. I said ok, I will get it back through the warranty company because I know that's not the case. I just needed to get back to the office as it was during business hours. Talked to the warranty company and low and behold he submitted a lesser amount for labor to the insurance company and then modified it and tacked on $20.

I went back the next day and nobody could give me a 20 dollar refund. I told them if I don't leave with my $20 today then I'm not coming back for it. She apologized and kept defending the shady service manager. Told me I would get a call back on Monday when the office manager is in as she's the only one that could approve a $20 refund. Then proceeded to defend again by saying that they only cover labor up to a maximum of $100/hour. I called them back and that again was a lie. They cover $150/hour. Tuesday afternoon rolls by and no callback. I call in again and get the run around again. Then they proceed to tell me that my warranty company is the one being shady. Even though I told her the warranty company already offered to pay me back the $20 if Cardinale Toyota did not. I told her don't worry about it because I've already wasted an hour of my time at this point for a measily $20. Wednesday she calls me back and asks for my card information to process the refund. I give it to her and she does not apologize. She does not try to explain the service managers actions. She does not offer anything so much as a free oil change to make it up to me. Nothing.

So petty and so stupid. It does suck for me in the end because I really liked the head service technician as he always takes time to kick the shit with me and talk trucks etc. He also tells me how good of a decision it was not to buy a new 2016 :p

I did also like the sales guy I talked with before purchasing out of state. And I basically told him they are dragging his name through the mud as I won't be spending any more money there.

In the end though I will drive 30 minutes to go to Carson City Toyota where I'm sure I'll also encounter similar shenanigans. :D

for the record my warranty covers up to 800/year so he could have taken advantage of them without even concerning me.

BBB is a privately owned company and offers no consumer protection at all. They basically extort business for money for a better rating. I take anything on BBB with a big grain of salt.

    TW isn't the place.

    Yelp, BBB. That's about it.

TW threads are the best place for people who love to hate on dealerships. Bring it on! (Or maybe your local BS thread)

I planned to yelp it as well just wanted to try and save anyone else the agony of dealing with petty people. But I will just keep it to myself.

I've been working at a dealership for years... They most certainly do have an impact. Any dealership that gives a shit cares about their reputation.

I'll just take my $0.02 back then....

    Good luck.

It really will just make you feel better. I don't think anybody really cares except for the guys on TW who like to say dealers are shitty whenever they can.

People like dealer complaint threads but they're always a shit show and that's about it. People dog pile and suggest stupid things like renting a plane to fly around the dealership for a day with a banner about how shitty they are, and then its over. Nobody really reads them as a place to avoid, just there to piss and moan.

    JMHO.

I meant no insult. I just know how they treated our business and several others. If you pay them the bad rating goes away. That is the only way I could see them having an impact. And that doesn't seem right to me. But if you say so I will report it there too.

Please share your experience on TW.

We are all like family here, and if your experience saves another TW member future grief, it would be well worth it.

I love my dealership. Gave me a great deal on the Tacoma and the Rav4. Always treat me very well in the service department. Never had one issue to this day.

    There, your turn!
