Bryan/College Station wrench meet, saturday Jan 30th

Rob, does anyone else require level ground to do their mods or otherwise have dibs on the garage?

 

Not really, I have plent of large rocks to block rear wheels on & yours should go in the garage because it will need all four corners on jackstands. When do you plan on showing up? If you want to you can come on friday after work & try to get a head start. We might be able to get the old one out before anyone shows up.

I am going to rearrange the garage a little (remove EVERYTHING) so that we have room to work on 2 trucks in there.

 

That sounds great. I'm not sure we'll even need to jack it up since we're not doing anything to the wheels and it's high enough off the ground to get under there even on a creeper. Just need to make certain the transfer case gets there on Saturday, but we can count on Michael to show.

I'll bring the impact wrench and jack stands in case anyone else needs them.

3. AlienXtx- Air compressor, jack stands, air tools, spring compressor, Hamburgers, water, helping hand.
4. SamSter0077 - Relocating 7way plug, maybe installing OME spacers up front. D RINGS!
5. paidfor - front coil overs/shocks, jack stands and jack, some tools, deer sausage and soda (not a beer drinker).
6. ulySSes - Lift kit install. I can maybe bring a floor jack, a pair of stands. Definately another case of beer and ground beef?
7. drew02a - Transfer Case install, Impact Wrench, Jack Stands
8. Anathollo- Food, drinks, and tools.
9. ZTX1000 - Possible OME lift & LR UCA's, BEER, SoCo & lil smokies - Maybe
10. aggieshooter - OME lift, LR UCAs; beer, bottled water, chips
11.BulletToothTony - No mods, couple cases of water, bags of chips...
12. Tomonian77 - Spacer lift
13. burnt_tiger (maybe)- paint rims, fog lights on anytime mod. -brats/buns -

 

No worries about Michael, he will show.

 

I know, he's come to almost every meet in College Stations and is always there on time.

 

I plan to drive up for the day. No mods except possibly test-fitting my rims on Sam's truck.
I don't drink but if someone would like to place a reasonable request I would like to accommodate and or contribute if possible.

 

It would be great if you could make it. If you want to bring something, water, sodas, chips, cookies or any type of grillable meat.

 

I can do that.

Yeah dude, I saw the ones at your shop, they are awesome.

 

I'd rather start ASAP to make sure there is time to finish.

 

Using Alien's shop would be a huge advantage for Drew's T-case. I am just worried about having everyone up there, drinking, bullshitting, making a mess & otherwise distroying the shop or even worse hurting themselves, losing tools, breaking things ect, ect. I am prepared to deal with that stuff at my place. We could consider splitting up, but I would have to stay at my house & direct traffic & besides, If we did that then I would miss you guys.

The transfer case is not THAT heavy, and I've got no aversion to working under the truck on the floor.

 

I do have 2 creepers & a nice rubber mat to lay on.

Stock case. Thanks again for the tip. I still want to do the Lefty, but I couldn't pass up a $400 case.

 

Naturally these will be the next steps, lol

 

and some playing cards ..... If i make it i will be painting my rims as well ....

 

Damn I hate to miss this one! My parts for my lift won't get here in time

Gf's parents live up in CS so I'm always up there is someone wants to offer a hand some other weekend (do I beg now or later?)
