The main reason he was talking about the lights is because the Tacoma headlight housings can't concentrate the beam. They tend to scatter the light, whether it HIDs or LEDs. People usually do projector housing to concentrate the beam. Just an FYI

Congrats on the truck. I love mine!

The bulb has a casing over it so it blocks the light from reflecting off the housing which aims up. When high beams are hit the bulb moves in opening up light to that part of the housing. When you stand in front of it its not bright to the eye unless I crouch down. Most HID just give you the bulb that shines whereever it pleases.
Thanks, and yeah yours it pretty bad ass lol Love the grille. @moondeath

Just ordered the Huskys. Dont have a bed mat. I guess thats a must? Why is it an important addon if the bed is composite? Reduce scratching i suppose?

Stuff slides around very easily on a naked bed. I need one myself.

The composite is tough, but slippery. A bed mat will both protect the floor from possible scratches, and keep stuff in place.

So get a camper shell, sleeping bag, a super charger, and the live in your truck mod. Seriously though I just installed these and they're super bright.

    Workin' on it....
Keeps stuff from sliding and also when you climb up into the bed on your knees (if you have a cap) the bed mat provides some padding.

Congrats on the truck. I see you chose the best cab style and the best colour. :yay: Get the Toyota bed mat, Dont get Rough country lifts, look at the lift threads for the best options on that. First mod you need to do is protect the interior so start with the weathertechs and the wet okole seat covers.
