This problem seems small..but it is, in fact, incredibly annoying. When my drivers window is rolled down to anything but 100% down, it rattles. Sounds like it is shaking in place !!

Anyone experienced similar issues? Any known remedies?

    Thanks!

As soon as they deliver it you should try rolling the window up. You don't want rain to get on that carpet.

It's not a seal problem...no water ever gets in. Just seems to rattle when cranked open !

Place a piece of foam backer rod behind the seal closest to the mirror. I think I used 3/8".

Or if you have some small rubber tubing of some sort place that in there.

Take it to the dealer. mine had that issue. There was a clamp that wasn't put in when my truck was built

I suggest video recording that before going to dealer. I had that problem, took it to the dealer they test drove it couldn't replicate. Took apart door everything was tightened nothing was loose. I said I'll make movie for you and come back, he said I hate to say this but he said that would be the best. Made movie and trade my Tacoma. HAPPY END!:playball::rasta:

Warranty it. But the bolts that hold the window to the regulator might be loose or even the regulator itself might be lose. I had Alot in the corolla models where they were loose. Even know at my work I get all kind of vehicles that have window rattles because of loose nuts and bolts.

Same issue on mine as well.
Both drivers side windows had the problem.
Took to the and they said they could not replicate, so I replicated it for them. All I had to do was open and close the door with the window down to get the rattle.
Turned out to be the rubber liner where the window sets in the track was missing!
