Haven't had the truck 2mo and got rear ended

    I feel your pain. My brand new truck was 3 weeks old and some numbskull rear ended me. Ive been running a trailer hitch with a 1 inch drop ever since. I figure if someone is going to rear end me again, they are going to get skewered in the process.

    FAr better damage wise to run a straight hitch with no drop as any drop will become a fulcrum and do more damage to the frame.

    and that's why I always have my hitch in the receiver. its worth the occasional painful shin smash. glad everyone is ok.

    I noticed that too, strange because we don't have an HOV lane here lol.
