Heck yeah. I dont duck hunt cuz it gets in the way of deer season, but i grew up on quail dogs workin (till the coyotes, bobcats, fire aints, amidillo etc bout wiped out all the quail around here) it blows my mind what bird dogs can do. Ive seen em point rabbits before haha a good dog is amazing.

During deer season I carry a couple of slugs. Deer are curious as hell about the dogs (maybe it's the bell??). A couple of years ago, this guy (dressed out at 155) jumped up from a bed and had a stare down with my dog about 20 yds away. I use an O/U so I quickly swapped out ammo and boom...double lunged him and he dropped where he stood...dinnah!
