I'm in the 300 mile tank club as well....500 and I'd be checking to see if I was still in reality

I almost died when I read that. I'm usually at 300 too

 

Sold the lightbar and sliders and installed my new retros and a Yakima roof rack system

 

You guys are lucky at 300. last fill up was about 255 for 16 gallons.

That's were both of mine average with out the RRT's on.

 

I want to upgrade rotors & calipers to. Maybe this spring-summer.

Best upgrade for brake stuff is OEM, hands down. except for pads, there are some great aftermarket ones that are fun to play with. I have Centric brake parts front and rear and they have given me a lot of trouble. The new shoes in the back refuse to settle in, so every time I use the ebrake, they self adjust until the rear wheel locks up...I know I didn't install anything wrong. Front rotors have a pretty good pulse in them, been that way for years now. and both calipers seized and had to be lubed

 

Looking back it wasn't too bad. I clamped it into a bench vice – took a hammer, and channel lock pliers, and such, then started straightening, bending. I started with the least bent area, then moved to the worst areas. Pressure washed before and after, my skid plate was very very gunked-up dirty. I bought a wire wheel brush from Harbor freight, used my Dewalt cordless drill to clean all the rust & such off. Then I painted it with flat black enamel, I let it dry a couple of hours then put two more coats on. Let it cure for 2 to 3 days, then installed it.

 

Nice. I like the distinct lines.

Taking a Saturday road trip with my family

 

Cut a 2"x6" to 59"- fit perfect. This will keep my tool box, ice chest and stuff from sliding around.
