Word I'll make sure to. Interested to see what kind of explanation they give.

And yeah I know it's a clunky shifter/truck. But was surprised after some time in it how bad it would clunk the rear end of you let the clutch out a bit quick.

My GTO has a clunky rear end as a trait from GM, so I'm used to that. Just figure for this cost and being new it wouldn't have something so similar haha.

Overall, I freaking love this truck. And the fact that I got a manual trans spec'd like I want is the exact reason why I got it. So this is not a big deal in the slightest. Though if I have a warranty, i may as well use it so they can tell me what's what haha.

That's probably why you are slipping the clutch. Mine engages closer to the floor. Did you check your clutch fluid level?

Don't as a general rule slip the clutch. Sometimes you can't help it but those times should be few a far between. Eventually you will glaze your flywheel then you will need a new clutch pressure plate much sooner than required.

Just did 45 minutes of bumper to bumper yesterday in the city.... meh... easiest vehicle so far in that crap is my Tacoma. Been driving manuals 40 years.

My only issue was Honda Civics trying to cut in line. They pull up next to me a put on the turn signal that I cant see cause I sit too high, then they just turn in... wtf?

I hate that shit, if we all would just be nice it wouldn't force every one to be smelling the ass of the vehicle in front of us, hey maybe even less time and accidents in these bumper to bumper traffic cluster fucks

Front plate bumper on order.... I gotta feeling those little POS Hondas will find someone else to jump in on.... or Honda meet plate bumper. I'll keep a can of flat black spray paint in my tool box just for that time when it happens. Pull out my paint can while the little shit is standing there, paint over the mark on my plate bumper and then say.... "problem solved, we done here?" boom....

I dont excessively slip the clutch ever but you have to slip it some to get it in first from a stop.

Sorry for the long time to update. The dealer said they couldn't recreate it. So they said if I come back a second and/or third time they would escalate it to Toyota and have them instruct what to do or eventually send someone out to look at it.

I dropped it for a second time today. They couldn't recreate it and escalated to Toyota and will see what they say this go around. I'll update with that they say.

Side notes, I dropped for the decent issue and they fixed that and about the rear end too. They are also having Toyota look at the rest end whine.
