Good times last night. Finished around midnight and took her out for a spin.

    Full droop.

    At ride height.

    27" up the wall.

    About 3" of shock left.
    image.jpg

Rides great. About 26" center of hub to fender, but they should settle to 24 or 25". So about 3" lift.

Sorry for all the pics. Maybe I should make a build thread...

So just making sure here. It's normal to get wood when you see pictures like this right? :D

It's when you don't do you have a problem.

Looking good Phil!! Now you should just flatbed that thing since you're basically keeping the house on it for good with those springs.

Welp, after the last house debacle. We're officially in escrow on a new property as of yesterday! Smaller house and not a 3 car garage but nice interior! Same neighborhood too so we're grateful. Now the escrow wait begins!

Oh and to celebrate, I walked the few miles to downtown and got a hotel, went to the bars and had a good time

    stuff

Is the shackle bracket in the forward (Dakar) position still? Do you have more shackle angle now with new springs?

I may move my bracket forward 3/4-1" for better angle and to stop it from inverting at full droop. What's another 8 holes in the frame, right?!?

Good stuff man, hoping this one has more luck than the last two!

And good for you going out, need to let loose every once in a while, specially in your situation. Can only stay cooped up for so long!

Not for me because I'm overthinking it. I should just learn to relax and go with the moment...

That's the eventual plan! Not in the next year though, maybe...

    Thanks! Congrats on the house!

I have it in the Dakar position. The Dakars measured 52-3/8", and the Alcans were at 53-1/2" IIRC. My shackles were negative with the Dakars, but it didn't seem like enough to make them go reverse. Haven't wheeled since the flip kit though.

    Question for Method peeps:

Is the center cap for Mesh the same as the NV?

    Cheers

The method center caps are not interchangeable . i have the nv 305 and didn't like the way the caps stick way out, i called method and asked about the caps from the double standards and was told they dont work. i just took mine off and run them without any caps .

That's horrible, sadly those years are super easy to break in. I remember my 87 I could just pull the window down and start the truck with a screwdriver.

Post some pics and info and we will keep a look out.
