    Spent a couple hours replacing my starter after work yesterday. Stranded at work on Friday...wtF!

    Turned my bed/softopper into an oven, actually just winterizing. Used the silver bubble wrap stuff from the hardware store. Searched far and wide how to insulate my Softopper on the interwebs and found nothing. So i just figured i'd come up with my own solution.

    I will be putting a switch down there soon. Did you remove the entire lower dash to get the switch and wires back there?! Or did you just pull up the side and tucked it in? :notsure:

    That's what I might end up doin... to remove that dash piece below the HVAC you have to remove EVERYTHING :ballchain:

    Exactly why I never have. Put the coat hanger through from the front, tape wires to it, pull back through. Simple.

    I pulled out the compressor and undercoating gun, lowered the spare and gave the undercarriage a new coating of fluid film. I sure like that stuff and easy to do. Gave a little squirt in the so called dog bone area also. I have been cleaning that out on a regular basis so alls good there.

    Pretty much had to take the raido, ac controller, lower dash kick panel. Also the inside raido bracket and the cluster cover. A lot had to come out just to make it look real clean
