Tara and Cliff, for the most part, figure Tahuya will be one of the better options because it has things for all levels of vehicle and driver. There are forrest service roads off I 90 a little west of the pass, but I don't know those trails at all, so can't say they would be good or bad. I would guess they are going to be muddy right now though

Guys, quick! My gf is taking us down to Monroe, near Snohomish for a couple hours but I wanna do some exploring afterwards.
Where's a good trail system down Hwy 2, passed Index and that area?
I know there's a newly built ORV area near Goldbar but I'd rather find somewhere that's not a park.
Hoping to find a place I need to airdown for, and potentially use my shovel and trac-grabbers.

I think either here or the other BS thread someone had mentioned a front end pop/clunk at low speeds. It's happening to me as well. Also someone had mentioned if the steering had a stiffness to it which is exactly what mine is doing. I can't remember if it was LCA bushings or what. Mine were replaced maybe 6k miles ago

Looking for Beckler road on Maps. Is it a forest road? Where is it located?

    EDIT. Found it :)

So I figured out the cause of the popping/clicking
According to @Gramps when the brake pads get to half life or less the tensioner will not hold the pad firmly against the rotor. So when you back up and then pull forward and apply the brakes it "clicks" as the pads contact the rotor which is exactly what it was doing.

Oh, that. I thought you meant a louder sound.
You can solve your thing by adding a second set of those mousetrap spring things, at least that's what @Benson X ended up doing and I think it worked for him

Just an FYI on Tahuya....in the drier months i would recommend it for a stock rig and for all levels. But in the rainy months and especially with as much rain as we have had....I would NOT recommend going there in a stock rig without someone very familiar with the area. It gets some large puddles that will go past the hood and without knowing which ones and where to go it can get pretty sketchy pretty quick. I generally avoid it Oct-March/April time.

I agree with this. Also recently they have made it harder (stock truck can do okay with sliders) in places that was just a dirt road. More rocks/ditches now.

im lookin at the magnuson kit which comes with the injectors (I believe) and a bully dog tuner (not thrilled about BD, but most have said it works). There is the possibility of the UCON EMS but that too is a pretty penny, so idk. Im still way early in the homework phase.

If I got this route I may be hitting you up for help haha

I'd still go with the TRD reflash and injectors man. I ran that set up on my old tacoma with full bolt ons and NST pulley set up and it ran great. Ran the injectors and reflash on my stroked/sleeved turbo build as well. It's safe and reliable.
