I guess as long as it says sealant. I'm using this lately.

Don't get too hung up on the break-in. Vary the speed, don't tow and don't idle for long periods of time for the first 1000 miles or so. You'll be fine. Even if you do all of the above you'll probably still be just fine. Fanatical break-ins are a thing of the past with the modern manufacturing processes.

I've heard it said with a good sealant you should be able to flick quarters at the paint with no damage but don't believe anything I tell you

Manual says no towing for the first 1k and vary the speed on the highway... and THEN drive it like you stole it.

Congrats on the purchase! Is the only difference between the 16's and 17's the power rear window? Would sure be a nice upgrade if I didn't have a shell on the truck!

I suppose. don't know if I'd ever use it though...it's a pain to open the shell window.

Ok cool, thank you for the info!

Oh wow that would be good. I'm off for election day, going to try to tomorrow.

    LMAO sounds good!

    Thank you!

Nice, thanks man! I have to say I'm really loving this truck, it is such a big upgrade from my 09 4x4 DCSB SR5!! The only thing I really wish I got was the sun roof lol, oh well maybe next time. For some reason I've always wanted one. The black sure is beautiful, I get a lot of compliments but the bitch is tough to keep clean and shows everything! But I love it, its worth it!

Congrats on the truck, looks awesome. I also have one in black. I would strongly suggest looking at some ko2 tires, out some on mine and the truck looks amazing, very aggressive.

Very nice truck! But I'm more envious of the sunshine in the photo! I feel like I haven't seen the sun in months up in Washington! :annoyed:

Yes sir! I plan on getting some beefier tires, a new grill, tint front windows/windshield strip, tonneau cover, maybe the roof racks, switching out the interior lights w/ LEDS, K&N cold air intake, and maybe some 5100's down the road. I'm a little leary on the spacer lifts, I can't be sure but I did a 3 inch on my 09' and it caused havok on my lower ball joints and struts, but to be honest I don't know much about that. I know a lot of people don't recommend and a lot of people do. In any cases I've been browsing the heck out of the "what have you done to your 3rd gen today" thread for ideas lol. I just found out I have a 2nd child on the way, my first is 16 months. So maybe only light modding at the moment as funds may get a little tight when I have to put a second child in daycare lol! But i'll get there for sure!!:bananadance:

Thanks man! I've heard good things about them, would you happen to have a pic of yours with them installed? Love the look of the black too!

Thank you! lol man that's the worst!!

Nice, I would have done the same! LOL no doubt!!:mudding:

I am currently running 265/70/17 Toyo Open Country. It's the stock rim/tire setup for the TRD Sport, or so I believe. It's a nice look but I prefer a slightly larger tire with meaty aggressive tread.
