Good afternoon, gents!

 

Anyone know a 2012+ that can be parted out in a yard or pull a part place. Called all around and can't fine one. Secondary air pump went out and switch valves did too. Trucks in limp mode. Toyota wants 1500 for the parts

 

It's usually either the pump or the valves, are you saying they both went out?

 

Lets see if I can not fuck it up this time.

Well not sure it's both but when I called they said best to get both and that most of the ones thy see are both. They guy on the phone didn't seem too smart lol. But just looking for some parts hopefully good and cheaper then Toyota charging. I would of thought since it's only the 12s that have the problem they would fix them for free but that's wishful thinking

 

Nope. Maybe 1 person got theirs fixed by Toyota. It's a known issue, they aren't doing anything about it.

My valves froze up but my pump still worked, bought new valves for $350ish and installed myself.

Yeah they couldn't get it in today to see exactly what it is. So Monday I will drop it off. I'm going to end up doing it myself just gotta get the parts. I been reading all the different threads about it. Weird how some were caused by the ECU. when your did it did he TRAC OFF light show up to?

I rode here lol. My buddy took his car somewhere to get his car tuned and it end up being Dennis favorite chop shop. So next thing ya know...
