    Thanks for your input.

Don't worry, I have zero intention of ever using those. They're strictly for show/looks. Like any gal with red/pink nail polish! LOL

I do have a 3/4 "D" Ring which fits perfectly with that heavy duty bracket.

Also one 20' strap. Probably a good idea to get another one.

Off Roading will be a rare occurrence if at all, but you never say never.

    Got an email/Update yesterday!

Truck is scheduled to arrive: 1-5 November!

Hope it happens. Weather this week is 50s. Perfect! I'd love to Wash/Clay/Seal/Wax, and then Plasti-Dip. Plus install all my Stuff!

After thinking about it, I'll Plasti-Dip first then wash/Clay/Seal/Wax

Ya never know, some dip particles may get past my masked off areas. So claying after I dip everything is the way to go!

    No Truck yet......

Since I was close by the dealership yesterday, and the fact that they told me my truck could arrive this week, I figured I'd shoot thru the lot to have a looksie.

As soon as I round the corner I see not one but Two white tacomas. Unfortunately as I got closer I could see they were both double cabs.

    So definitely Not Mine!

Anyway got out to stretch my legs and look around. Really wanted to look underneath to see how easy it will be to install my tow hook and skid plate. Pleased to see it looks super easy. Something even a girl can do. Hahaha

The two double cabs were identical, options and all, and same exact sticker price.

Got my fingers crossed, enough already. Where's my Truck???

I went to the Toyota.com site and got the truck I wanted. Got bids from several dealers. Then bought my accessories outside dealership but stuck with OEM Parts. Worked 4 me! Good luck & Welcome!

Pretty much the same thing I did. Truck does have a couple things right from the factory, but otherwise I ordered on-line.

Much cheaper for the same exact parts. Saved a Bundle!

Stop by the dealership to checkout my new truck!

Did a visual walk around. Everything looked perfect. Then took it for a test drive!

    Odometer: ONE MILE

Just a quick spin, 10 miles or so, enough to feel the gears and listen for any weird sounds.

ALL GOOD - No problems noticed

Although the Window Sticker was slightly different than what I was expecting. It has the Carpet floor mats, so they will switch them to the All-Weather mats that I ordered. Also it did not have the Mudguards on the sticker. So they will add those as well.

Very minor issues that will be corrected easily.

Dropped off the TRD Pro Wheels & K02s, and Black Lug Nuts. Tire swap is scheduled for Monday, the 7th.

Looks like a very good possibility that it will be ready Monday. Although the Cast Aluminum Running Boards that I added, will have to be ordered. They may possibly have a set one hand, but most likely they will have to order.

So it looks like I will have to return to have the running boards installed.

Here's a couple pics, the Before Pics! The mods should start Tuesday, the 8th!

Thanks, ya it took awhile. Ordered/down payment on 9-28

    Built on: 10-21

    Arrived at Dealership: 11-5

Should be ready: 11-7 or 8th at the latest. But probably still missing the running boards, parts department has to order.

Went to my 4pm appointment yesterday to get my truck. Did all the paperwork and decided to leave it there and pick it up this afternoon.

Reason; the Mudguards and Running Boards wouldn't arrive until tomorrow (today) and I would've needed to bring the truck back first thing in the morning so they can do the install.

So I saw no point in bringing the truck home overnight and then having to bring it back early in the morning.

Today it will have everything done! It's a Beautiful day to boot, 60 degrees which is Frigg'n Outstanding for the first/second week of November.

I should be able to get some of my mods underway if I get the truck home say around 2ish.

Today's goal will be to Plasti-Dip the badges, Fender Flares and front valance. But that's contingent on getting it in my driveway early enough!

Rain in the forecast for tomorrow, so no mods, but maybe I'll swing by the leather interior place and decide what to go with color wise. Also need to make appointments for the leveling kit and window tint/eyebrow.

    It's in the Driveway!

    The MUTANT TACO has arrived.

Unfortunately by the time I got home it was too late to start any mods. Tomorrow appointments so that's a no go as well.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY: Sunshine and the mods will start. Can't wait. The drive home was great, very comfortable, sounds good and handled well.

I'll be sure to post Before & After pics!

Started dipping today. Only had a couple hours, interrupted by a doctors appointment, so the time I did have I spent mostly on the prep work.

Also remove the front valance. Cleaned the dip areas w/a 50/50 mix of alcohol/water. Then taped everything off.

    Here's a couple pics!

Also noticed after I removed the front valance that on the inner side they dated the piece.

If you had money for so many other accessories why didn't you buy off-road fender flares and an unpainted bumper chin piece.

To be honest I have no idea how much they cost, hadn't even considered it, but from what I've seen they scratch very easily.

Plus Plasti-Dip can be removed, or touched up anytime you want.

Got a couple hours in today, removed all the wrap/paper, tow hook, hood & window visors, and swapped out the grille.

Still plenty to do so tomorrow's another day! Hopefully I'll get the vinyl on the tailgate, and my "Texas Edition" badge. All so have a "TRD Pro" badge, and two small Texas Edition badges for the cab. But the main objective is to install the Skid Plate. Probably need hubby to help me since its heavy and awkward to get in place and tighten down.

I'll post some pics tomorrow, was gett'n late so it's hard to really see the grille.
