Haha not gonna delete the other vendors. I personally have only purchased directly through ADS in town and from Maria at Headstrong and I was so thrilled with my service from Headstrong, that I even wrote a vendor review here a couple of years back. I certainly would purchase from them again!

Sure did. I actually have been working on it for a little bit. Had to check various shipping prices since you are in Hawaii. You should get the PM soon.

Called DSM about a spanner wrench for the c/o. they said you need a wall mounted spring compressor in order to adjust them otherwise you would damage them. does anyone have any experience with adjusting them yet?

Mine adjust super easy on the truck with a pin punch.

I had mine ordered and installed locally to match my Deaver pack in the rear. I actually asked for a rake which gives me 2.5 in the front with 3 in the back. It's barely noticeable and will hopefully account for any settle in the leaf pack as well. I can always crank them up if I need.

Well what concerns me is that I was told by DSM that to adjust them you need to remove them and use a wall mount spring compressor to preload them or they can be damaged. Unlike my Toytec BOSS that I can easily adjust with the tires on. I like to sit 3 inches up front. I've adjusted my current setup 4-5 times to get the highet I want and account for driver lean.

Anybody put more preload on them on the truck?

Yes. I jack it up, pull the tire, pull the uniball through bolt, and then they can be adjusted easily with a pin punch.

I first tried without pulling the uniball through bolt, which works up unitll you get to the spot that's missing a hold due to the pinch bolt.

I've never put more preload on, only took it off. But it should be the same exact thing, meaning you shouldn't need a compressor. At least that's what I've been told from everyone I've ever talked to. I've also told people to do it that way, and no one has told me it didn't work?

    HELP NEEDED

I'm trying to adjust my 2.5" coilovers and can't seem to get it to turn more than half a turn before damaging my spanner wrench or elongating the adjustment hole.

I've loosed the collar and dropped the spindle from the UCA.

    What else am I missing?

    I appreciate the response.

It makes no sense that these are not adjustable on the vehicle. By using spring compressors, I was able to get 3/4 turn, but no further.

R the shocks new or have mileage already on them? I would spray the threads down with some type of lubricant like Teflon . I think he was referring to the spindle and uca bolt on ur last ?

    This is to rmepilot

I don't know if the ceramic coating that is suppose to be coating the shock could be causing the threads to bind as I have no experience with these as of yet, but have been looking into purchasing a set . My experience are with icons and sway a way's and found that a bit of lube does help especially on the threads and where the springs contact the upper and lower spring perches , it allows them to slide .
