    If you read steps 7 and 8 of your instruction manual... Blue is ignition / Yellow is light signal

    Oh I know what the wires are for. Just not exactly sure where in the truck I should tap into. Ive seen sooo many different ways of people doing it

    Got everything mounted and hooked up today. Can't seem to get the switch plate to dim when the lights are turned on. But everything else works great.

    I used a random wire in the fuse block that I knew was gonna be ignition dependent. Just dont use the A/C one since that won't work lol
    Check our T-tap. Mine did the same thing.

    I used the corner light on the headlight as my dimmer lead.

    Yeah thats exactly what I did. But for some reason its not wanting to dim. Not sure why or why not. I even checked to see if the blue wire in the corner lights turned on when plugged in and it did. But then when the yellow wire is in it still doesn't want to dim.

    Ill check yours out though for sure! thank you!

    its possible that the yellow wire came loose from the main connector piece, you could try wiggling the base of the yellow wire...

    I tapped both in the fuse block in the dash using add-a-circuits. I prefer to keep my factory wiring as untouched as possible.
    I will try to get a picture posted as well as which fuses I'm using. I'm at work but may be able to tonight.

    I was thinking about going this route and was hoping there was a way to tap both wires (blue and yellow) into that fuse block rather than the one under the hood... Looking forward to seeing how you did this Steve. Thanks!

    I spliced into my fog light harness. One of those wires energizes when your lights are triggered... Ignition power I used the fuse tap that they supplied and found a port on the fuse box that powered up.
