Hit me up for a 10% forum member discount. I can answer any questions you have too if you're exploring any other options. FWIW, all Tepui tents include the Sky windows now, with just a couple exceptions.

Hey guys...i just purchased a used tepui kukenam....amazing condition barely used. i currently a have a front runner rack. the rtt already has the rails installed for side opening which I'm ok with.

    My questions:
    1. how to install on the rack?
    2. did u have to purchase the FR mounts to cover the lip when opening?
    3. any pictures?
    4. any recommendations?
    5. did it fit?

You'll want the FR tent mount kit to raise the tent up about 1" so it clears the outer rails of the rack. These brackets will bolt into the crossbars of the rack using the tracks and the tent will attach to the brackets. There are a couple different styles of FR brackets but these are the ones I see most often.

Yes you'll need at least the low profile mounting brackets

Not sure what you mean by covering the lips

Exactly that, you guys answered my question prefect. i was just wondering if the low profile would cover the edge or if i needed to get the taller one. thank you

camping in the middle of Bend OR, during a 2 day cyclocross race. it rained a lot even for Oregon, but especially for the high mountain desert. the awning sure came in handy.

Hey guys I have a 16 trd or long bed quicksand and I have the CBI overland bars. Not sure which tent to get and I thought I'd get your feedback. Anything to stay away from? I'm leaning towards the CVT summit series. Just me and my wife and maybe a dog soon. Were going to bend in January and may just get the tent then right from the CVT showroom. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am looking at CVT as well, Mt. Rainier Extended Summit Series. It is basically a longer California King in sleeping size, and the annex would give us ample room for a small blow up mattress for our 8 year old. I have a shortbed, so I don't think we could do the Mt. Denali.

Mt. Shasta extended is perfect for two people and a dog. Obviously you only need extended if you want the overhang and annex, but I definitely recommend it. You can fit a queen size air mattress in the annex if you need to no problemo.

Does the annex work if the overland bars make it not that high off the ground? Thanks for the help!
