just watch them do it.. I've got a friend who is a lube tech, and he's got so much royal purple and amsoil in his garage it ain't funny. Most places say you cant walk back to the service areas, but if you jaw jack enough with somebody, they'll usually let you cruise through...

yeah -- you can buy mobile 1 by the jug at walmart, too for like 22.00 or 26.00 for 5qts.

Pisses me off that i've got a 4.0, gotta buy one of those, and then a 6.00 dollar quart on top of it...doesn't make sense.

If you're up for organizing, I'm up for participating.:) Come to think of it, I'd help you put something together up here in the NW(pick some trails, etc.)

I can't say "all" because there is a helluva lot of it but I've been around a few things. I usually just tinker around with the wheeling in town on side of the road hills and obstacles. Most of the "trails" I've done are 45-60 min. up the road in the Durango area. There are countless spots here around town though. Like I said in an earlier post, Chokecherry Canyon (google/youtube it) is actually IN town. They do national rock crawling competitions there. It's basically a full terrain park with high speed, sandy prerunner sections and endless slick rock for the 4x4's to play on. There are many marked trails in there but I've only been on a couple. I went with some Land Cruiser friends (ride along) on "Waterfall". Holy shit! :eek:You tube that one too.

Please do look them up. Much of the stuff you'll see is out of the Tacoma's league but don't let that discourage you. The place is miles wide by many, many miles long. Mild to wild, there's something in there for everyone.

That would most certainly be the place to go in town but I'd gladly do some detective work with the locals and 4x4 shops to see what else is available.

There's endless shit here though. You can be tippy with a wheel sticking up in the air a stones throw away from a grocery store.

alright i know this is a little off topic from your convo but i thought you guys might get a kick outta this i felt a little violated haha

so my gf and i left the gym her mom called her and told her to come to dillards. so i went and droped her off and drove her car home.

so on my way home, driving a blueish purple miata with pearls hanging from the rear view mirror AXO (her sorority) sticker on the back window a pretty girly car haha, i had 2 cars try to get me to pull over, 3 cars pulling up next to me trying to check me out, and one guy had to be drunk cuz he still tried to pick me up? haha wtf huh??

anyway i thought id share never had that happen to me before.

I have them and love them. You'll notice how they stick out a hair but it's not enough to really catch anyone else's attention. They give your truck a nice, aggressive stance. Technically, a wider stance decreases the chance of flipping your truck too. Some people argue spacers are a weak link. With the lug centric (weight on the lugs) cheapos, I'm sure they are. Spidertrax are hub centric (weight on the hub) and very strong. In fact, I'd argue they are stronger than many aftermarket rims because most of those rims are lug centric. People also argue that they are harder on wheel bearings and perhaps they are, but not any harder than a rim with an equal amount of backspacing. People have been driving deep rims forever and I just don't see them ruining very many bearings.

If you install them properly, I'm sure they're fine. I've never heard a "rational" argument against them.
