SSO's bumper does require just as much cutting. Please do some research before posting false info.

Both are excellent options, I myself went with the SSO bumper, hoping it arrives shortly.

My mistake. I didn't realize you had to be an expert at everything you speak about. I just saw that nobody had mentioned any other bumper besides the C4 and wanted them to know there was more out there than just that one. I wasn't trying to provide false information. I have removed the incorrect info from my previous post to prevent anyone form getting wrong information as that was never my intention.

Thanks for understanding people make mistakes.

okay so since the bumper is cut does it flex at all? Does it flap around? Is there a supplied rubber trim or something so the plastic doesnt rub against the metal?

@C4 Fabrication Just out of curiosity why are the fender flares cut? Just for a more aggressive look? Or ease of removing and reinstalling the bumper cover multiple times for fitment?

The plastic bumper cover will not flex at all, we provide mounting brackets that fit inside the corners of the bumper cover where the cover meets the new Lo-Pro bumper. This stops the plastic from moving. If you are worried about the plastic rubbing at all, we recommend using rubber door edging from an auto parts store. It fits around the edges nicely and stops any scratching.

The fender flares were cut from before hand when we had our Overland Series front full replacement bumper installed. The flare trimming isnt related to the Lo-Pro bumper.
You can see in this picture where the flare needs to be cut off to match the bumper.

What is the Veterans day discount?

Also, does this bumper work with the TRD Pro skid plate?

We have not actually tested it with a Pro skid plate since we have not had one in the shop. But judging by the pictures of the Pro skidplate, we do not anticipate any issues.

yes it is "very similar" as in pretty much exactly the same as ours, oh and did anyone notice that they conveniently priced theirs 6 dollars under ours? haha. Also it was very nice of them to call it their "Lo-Pro" bumper which is exactly the same name with the same spelling we have been using on our Tacoma and 4runner bumpers for over 6 months now.

Caleb we haven't done any copying, there might be similar but all these lo-pro bumpers are all pretty similar when it comes down to it. We designed right off our customers truck using our standard design styles that we put into all our products. We have not seen one of yours, so I can't copy a product I've never seen nor would I want to because then theres just no reason for us to make it at all. Also we've used "Lo-Pro" as a term in our shop and our website to describe our LED roof mounts for over 2 years, nothing new there for us to use that term. We do call ours a "Stingray Lo-Pro" also, not simply lo-pro bumper

Understood, it just got to me a bit the other day when I saw your version of the bumper was released. Oh well, there is only so much that can be done to make a product different than anyone elses. Not trying to start a war here, just needed to get it off my chest.

I've been there plenty of times, I get where you're coming from. We try our best to differentiate and innovate but unfortunately these days the offroad market can be a someone saturated industry from a design perspective. Just know that we are not a company interested in copying anyone else, it just doesn't make any business sense to do so. We want as unique products as possible and our craftsmanship to be what attracts our customers

I agree, the market can get a bit saturated for certain products. Its the lead times, customer service and actual build quality that will eventually differentiate the various companies out there.
