You're correct. The form of boost is irrelevant to this subject. I'm talking about tuning and fuel.

I have this same thing going on, been wondering what it was but since it hasn't gotten any worse I haven't been too worried about it.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Just installed another access bad cover. I forgot how much of a pain in the ass they were to install. But, I'll still have to figure out where to locate my Cb antenna now...

Question for those with retrofits/hids, where did you mount the controllers? Racking my brain while I have the front of the truck apart. Don't want to double side tape them in like I did on my last truck. Input welcome.

Mine started out at random and I mostly noticed while at a drive thru.. then I was able to exactly pin point it. It's pretty damn annoying I was looking to upgrade my brake kit anyway

I dont remember exactly where i put mine....the controller though I bent the mounting tab and hang it off the batter hold down rod. The ballast i just found a bolt close to the headlights to hold. I know not much help but really just lay out the harness and its pretty easy to find somewhere ot mount it

If you think that's bad, you should hear the occasional popping I get when turning in parking lots. It makes me want to check torque on everything all the time.

is there any issues mixing the TRD flash or injectors with the "magnuson" SC? I just wasnt sure if the TRD SC had some sort of matching data for the TRD reflash that the mag wouldnt have or something like that???

Like I said previously, i dont get the flashing/ECU part of this project at all. Im not a big fan of bully dog stuff either so if reliable, I would lean more on the TRD stuff

Injectors are rated by cc and the pulse rate they work at...as long as the rating is the same to what the standalone or ecu flash asks for then you can use any that fit within that spec. kind of curios what the cc rating of the TRD injectors are? Probably 500 or 800cc

It's been a few years, off the top of my head I believe that they are 550's? I just know to run the TRD reflash(which will work with any kind of blower/turbo set up depending on actual boost level) is great safe bang for buck. You can even run the TRD boost reflash while being N/A as long as you have the TRD injectors.

Once you start going with aftermarket piggy back tuners, you'll have head aches with reliability and compatibility. The only aftermarket tuning solution I would recommend is ProEFI128, but if you think the UCON is expensive you wont want to even look the ProEFI up.

Feels good to have a cover again. Had to modify my hi lift mount a bit for it to fit under the cover, but I got it done. Now I need to find some tie downs for the channels. Btw, @Benson X do I still owe you for the mounts..?

Hey! I check this thread frequently but I've never posted since I live in the Tri-Cities. I was wondering what you guys think about McClellan Butte trail and if you would recommend it to an off-road beginner? Thanks!

I live in the Tri-Cities, and I post a bit. Before you know it, you will be heading to the west side to meet up with the other members and hitting some trails!
Just looked up that trail and it looks like a nice, scenic (carnage free) drive. I might have to check it out sometime.

Looking to upgrade my suspension set up. Currently billies and 885's with aal. Looking at BP-51 setup or maybe one of the other higher end sets. A couple of you guys are running the BP's, what are you thoughts on them? Also looking into RTT. Should I get the extra leaf for Dakar's?
