Good point... saw an OCD dude at the check out at Trader Joes market last night with his "for now" normal son... wow... that was something to watch.... dude was putting paper bags inside of other paper bags AFTER he was done bagging, all the while hyping out on his son AND "reasoning" with the checkout person about making bags for the next customer. The checkout person was trying to give the kid a free sticker.. that didn't go well either... wow.

Id be afraid to ask that dude how to tie my shoes. Probably take a 1/2 hour to explain it to me. OR give me shit for asking him...

I'm new to TW, searched every where but can't find what this thread is about!

 

I agree in principle, but I think part of the issue is that a lot of the larger threads regarding popular topics are incredibly long and largely full of fluff. You could easily do a search, find a "useful" thread, but not find anything useful in it without spending a long time.

Also questions posed in a largely established thread often get drowned out, so you tend to get more responses if you create your own, even if it is redundant.

 

I agree, seems like the topic of the thread gets lost, due to a conversation getting started by three or four people that make fun of something or go completely off topic.

Could even just be fixed in a sense create one new thread for each topic with all the gathered info from each thread, sticky it and lock it so it can't be filled with off topic broness

its the people that join and their first post is "how big of tires can I fit without a lift"

Yes I agree that those need to stop. I personally find the "what tires will fit with no lift" the worst. Especially since you almost don't have to search that one...at any given time there is at least 1 thread on the first page regarding this

 

yep, I've had a few people tell me I'm a dick for telling them to search a little.
They'll say shit like 'I'm new I don't know how to use the search function"
well its right about the create a new thread portion, and if you're on a computer I'm sure yu know how to scroll, there's like 3 of the threads on the first page alone.
