Do you carry a lot of stuff when you go camping? And are you planning on a rear plate bumper/swing out?

Yes, quite a bit of gear when it's the whole family. No real plans on bumpers. Not a huge fan of plate bumpers.

I'd suggest just the normal Dakar pack without the AAL. You can add it in later if you sag but I don't think you'll need it

Cool. I am also thinking about 34's, regear? Locker? Or both?

You will feel a power loss but up to you if you think you want to regear. If you do decide to then that is the time to add locker(s).

Im working near tri cities. Maybe if I have a non holiday weekend off, we 3 can go exploring.

If you have the 4 cylinder engine, like me, regearing for 34s is a must. V6, count on losing power and fuel economy, but if you run the truck as daily driver, not pulling a trailer and not carrying a bunch of extra weight full time, then you could get by without regearing. If you put lockers in, do it at the same time as regear, like Brian said.

Sounds like I need to do some research on gearing. It hasn't been a daily driver till lately, had to have my bike repaired and it's been raining to much for my wifes comfort level.

No kidding. So the big question is would you buy them again? Do you have aftermarket uca's?

I love them! Mule Expedition Outfitters did the install. Oem uca's for now. Toyota of Tri-cities did the alignment and have it dialed in well. I still plan on swapping to Total Chaos uca's in the future.
I would definitely buy them again and I haven't even made adjustments yet.
Edited to add a little more info (shamed by @twalchlii1's 'book' below.)
Had factory TRD sport suspension before.
Vehicle has 90lbs of Pelfrybilt aluminum skid plates, dual Odyssey batteries in front, and a heavy bed rack with spare. Wheels are SCS F5s with Cooper ST Maxx tires in 265/75 16r.
No modification to the drive train.
Full OME Bp51 kit including the complete Dakar leaf pack.
Sets about 3" highline front and about 3.5" (without the CVT tent) in the rear.
Looks pretty level with the 140lb tent and all camping gear loaded.

I have total chaos UCA's. They're definitely worth the cost but I hadn't used them to their full potential yet

    Are floor mats a mod?
Ok, so here's how my truck is now. BP51s, with the OME spring set, which ARB says are 750 lbs, but I say are 700 by feel. Allpro uca's. No sway bar. Dakar leaf pack with the extra leaf. 4" extended rear brake lines from Wheelers. Approx 3" lift in front, and maybe 5-6" in rear. ( I posted on here several months ago too lazy to dig up) running 33s,no diff drop, but I do have about a 1/2" drop on my carrier bearing. If you have a decent tool set, and are somewhat mechanical-y, install takes about a solid day or 1 1/2 beer days. Or 2 wine days if your wife finds you asleep under your truck.:anonymous:
Bear in mind, my truck is carrying around 1000 extra pounds of mods and gear over stock weight.
BP51's- love them. Very plush ride on all surfaces so far. Yes, they are stiffer, but not in a vibrate-y way, just much more controlled. With the springs and shock combo I don't even notice the sway bar is gone, except off-road, where I can get full stuff when flexed. I messed with the valve settings and ended up going back to the settings ARB sent them set to. On the road,I feel tar strips more, but I think that's a function of my E rated tires more than the suspension.
Dakkars- I put in the extra leaf so that when I camp, i dontget bro droop, but when unloaded, rear is about 2" or so higher than front. With the BP51 rears, it is much more controlled rebound, so you don't get the springboard effect as much as the stock set up. It is stiffer, but not so it bugs me.
Overall, the entire set up is a whole order of magnitude better than stock.
Yes, I would buy them again for sure, EXCEPT
I would save up and buy them as my 1st suspension, not my 3rd, and save myself a few thousand dollars of learning.

Having said all that, they are very expensive, and you can get the same effect with King, Icon, etc. for about $1k less. With ARB, you are paying for components that are engineered to go together, for the ARB name, and for the only internal bypass shock with adjustable rebound AND compression. ( most of the others are just compression) also, the only ones with aluminum bodies, so cool better and no rust.

    I had toytec coils with 5100s before . Yes they're a uni-ball.
I adjusted my front rebound one notch as it was pretty bouncy. Now it's perfect and the rear I left set as they came

    Last was
stock rear with add a leaf, front was mish mosh of allpro ucas, pro comp 720 lb springs, billies all around. It was ok, but as I added weight, everything was just not strong enough, except the ucas.
