@Martin64 I recently purchased 5 New Tires from Discount Tire Direct. I looked up the tires online, but did my deal on the Phone. I had a good experience with the representative and received my promised gift card swiftly. He also gave me a Forum Discount when I mentioned TW. I can PM you his contact info if you need it. My tire guy mounted them on my wheels that were separate from the the truck and broke down My existing tires and switched the TPMS's for $25.00 each. Im very happy so far.

That's great! I played with The USC back in the day.

    Sounds good.

She and the dog are great! First her papa died, then the little guy at school, and now we are going to have to tell her sometimes that Ms. Shirley across the street passed away. Too much death for a little one. The pup seems happy as ever. He's become an ol daddy's boy.

Could you imagine? While that kind of driving is not my idea of fun, I couldn't imagine doing that to that crowd. There are quite a few rocks rigs in this area. I guess they use some of the routes at work too.

Had nothing to do with vanity.... made my hair more flyaway than it was on it's own... would stick up all over. Was so dry that everytime I touched something metal I would get shocked

:pout: you're taken anyway, so it doesn't matter :p

Sadly that's the fate of many hardcore trails or other trails in Socal . Someone complains about damage done to their jeep or ?? To the agencies controlling that area . Next thing you see is a bulldozer or grader knocking the trail down

This has been seen done in the Anza Borrego State park alot so the yuppies in their Mall crawlers can't hurt themselves

We have a crew that does minimal work and all by hand. I've been asked to recon minor repair areas that I really didn't want to take a machine into and didn't . I remember my early motorcycle years and we rode some stuff that was rough and we wanted it rougher so I can sympathize and respect those looking for a challenge. It gets them out into their element and it encourages others. So it's a good thing in my book.

This is my refusal to shave. I finally caught back up with the thread. Sorry for the poor quality but I'm being real lazy today.

We could slide down a ladder way only touching two or maybe three of the rungs. this also depends on the handrails.
I use to have to clime down the small hatch, that went all the way to the bilge. One of my duties was to check the area where the #2 shaft went thru the hull.

yep it's tuff to tell the little ones about death especially when they ask questions and depending on who it was sometimes you may not want to have to talk that much about it but saddly it's part of life. i believe the hardest for me was telling them about my step dad and especially our pets. sometimes being a dad, or parent period, really sucks but all in all the good times out weigh the bad

I always was bummed for the big guys on the ship (no Females back then). My rack was the top rack exactly under the #3 wire. I could not roll over in it with out hitting the top of it. when laying down there where only a few inches to spare on each end. I'm not big 5'9" back then only 150 lbs.
