Arb Bumper fitment

Hey guys needed some help. I wanna get the arb bumper for my 07 Taco.
Does anyone know if the new arb bumper will fit with a body lift? Any suggestions would be appreciated

 

mine wobbled on my 02

 

Does yours have a body lift? and does it fit nice and snug even tho it wobbles

 

It will fit but you will have a gap between the bumper and the upper grille and headlights.

yes i do and no it had an inch or two gap from the headlights. it was sturdy, it wasnt gonna come off but it freakin wobbled!

 

That's scary - did you ever try and winch with it?

id push with it and pull around the dodge whenever it wasnt wunning

Body lifts = no good.

You're going to have it with any bumper after a body lift unless you fab up a bracket or come up with a filler.

Do a search on here and other forums about it...it's been done.

the guys from kenshaw mountain accessories told me it would fit and wouldnt have a gap but im not positive

 

Fitment would not be a problem...it will just not fit normally.

Anything that mounts to your frame will be at stock height while anything mounted to the body is going to sit higher.
If you have a 1" body lift then odds are you will have close to a 1" gap, etc...

Understood i just got off the phone with kyle from KMA bumpers and they said there able to build it to accomodate the body lift so there would be no gap so i guess theres one solution

 

hey i love mine, its a good cheap way to do a lift



but going back i wish i got full suspension instead

I've dropped a ton of money on stuff only to replace it a year later when I could have just saved up for a few months and gotten what I wanted/needed sooner.

Please tell me you don't mean a 6" body lift...

i got 3 suspension 3 body, i didnt know better at the time


i wish i didnt get the sliders before i decided 6" suspension would be better

i love the body lift and it holds up well its just inconvienant for the reasons mentioned in this thread

 

This is getting off-topic but wow...I ran a 1" body lift on my '95 Runner back in the day and that is the only size body lift I'll ever run.

OP,

Post up when you get the bumper...I'd like to see how they mod the ARB to fit the body lift.
Are you taking your rig to them for fitment or are they just doing it based off the height of your body lift?

no not a 6 inch body lift i have a body lift and suspenion that equals 6 i with i just with the 6 inch suspension from fabtech but i cant complain right now where im at

IMO a 6" lift is just useless/insane/too much unless it's a SAS.
