    Is the shock blown and the oil from that making it look like it's the axle seal ?

    I know our trucks are different but I didn't have any oil coming out where the axle flange meets the housing.

    So pissed I did not make it out last weekend so today when I got home I was determined to figure out where exactly I was with the truck status.
    I backed it into the driveway, chocked the tires, and pulled the drivers side rear.



    Pulled the drum and lo and behold broken spring!

    Upon closer inspection the wet on the axle is all shock fluid from the beat B-110 Billy. There was zero gear oil & no apparent leaking from the bearing.

    I happened to have a spare spring from an extra parts bag so I was able to get the brakes set back up properly pretty easily.

    Of course it rained while I had everything apart. :rolleyes:



    Took it for a road test and it stops as it should. I'm fucking outta here on Sat. :headbang:
