I didn't steal any of mine that I didn't pay for. A few came from work and the rest family gave me for gifts over the years.

 

FIFY. Still better than anyone guessed going into this season. Hopefully they don't have another epic failure this year.

 

I also have a Burrows Canucks jersey , thats my fave

 

Is that your wifes sex jersey. Does she like a good poke too .

Clarification: This is no offense to your wife, but common with that spear in the last game from Burrows you had to see that coming lol.

 

The more I read into this Jersey business the more it seems like the Premier Jerseys are better than the Edge Authentics right now unless you can find a made in Canada Edge authentic.

Why couldn't Reebok to stick to one authentic

Whelp. Sucks for me, being that I don't have an inside connection and that the ducks aren't one of the more popular teams. A game worn lindholm jersey was priced at $1000 at the arena... Indo orange jerseys were $329 plus $108 for customization. (Orange isn't available online on Nhl.com)

 

I have an Authentic McFarlane Oilers Third jersey. The material is super comfortable. And I've only worn it to Oilers games a couple times.
I totally lucked out, and got it off Kijiji for 40 bucks.
You can't beat the material from Authentic jerseys. I tried on a newer Oilers Authentic, at Jersey City once. The quality is fantastic.

 

Seriously... Guess I'll wait for Adidas and see what happens.

 

Don't feel bad. I'm 99 percent sure that my next Jersey will be a Primier replica. I'm not paying 400 dollars for a authentic that will change next year.

 

The most comfortable Jersey I have is the original Edge authentic. The one the players ditched because even though it was more aerodynamic it was almost impossible to put on alone which killed it for the players lol. It fits tighter with a smooth feel. It almost feels like a good sweater. Too bad I bought it in size medium and it's a bit short for me since I got a dad body.

 

We are probably getting advertising on the shoulders . I hope the Leafs get BMO or someone like that with a logo that matches the jersey. I'd be worried as a Ducks fan. I wouldn't be surprised to see some strange logo advertised on a teams jersey that is nationally less popular.

Other people may not notice the difference, but i do... Premier Jerseys have "printed" patches sewn on, while authentic jerseys have true patches. In some cases, they do the same thing with the numbers and names on the back. Which you can really tell in person vs pictures...

Depends. I never noticed on my Flames Jerseys which are replicas. The main emblem is a "real" badge and only the shoulders are printed. I never notice probably because almost everyone else in the building us wearing a replica too. I wonder how much just the shoulder badges are? I doubt it's 200 dollars lol.

Next year I guess I can blast out the extra money for "real" authentic advertising too .

 

I'd rather have "real" authentic made in canada advertising.....

And WTF is this supposed to mean on the shop.nhl.com website description:

"The Reebok® EDGE authentic hockey jersey replicates the jersey worn by all NHL® players on the ice."

......an authentic replica?

 

I should also clarify what the Addidas deal MAY mean. So in the past major line companies have usually bid on NHL contracts under their hockey brands. For Addidas that would be CCM and Reebok. However this time around Addidas bid and won the rights under the Addidas trademark. While this is minor the terms of the deal included provisions for advertising to possibly be added to the Jerseys next year at the leagues discretion. Long and short, Addidas will likely throw their logo on a few Jerseys next year and may even start making the 1st wave of advertising Jerseys for the NHL. If ads end up on the on ice Jerseys you can bet they will end up on the authentics, which would mean that next year will we be paying for ads if we buy new Jerseys lol.

 

I believe that's because the only real jerseys are technically game worn jerseys. No fight strap = authentic replica .
