I was just wondering how many service members out in the TW are 3rd gen owners. Also, what branch has the most owners? Has military experience influenced your decision to purchase a Toyota like it has mine? Me: Navy, enlisted, special warfare mechanic, drive, repair, and modify Toyota Hiluxs daily. I've been doing this for a while now, and honestly we put those trucks through hell on a daily basis weather it be training or in a deployment setting. That's what really got me into Toyota trucks...... I completely understand and acknowledge that a Tacoma isn't a Hilux by a long shot. Thought it might be fun to see what branch has the most 3rd gen owners. Thank you to everyone who served and currently is! AMERICA!!

    Cheers!!
    -Logan.

Part of the tiny sliver of the chairforce that acts in a combat role. I just needed a truck I could throw my kit/ruck in the back of on the way to/from training

Army vet, got a third gen Toyota because it had the most features I wanted from all the mid size that were available and to me, the nicest interior and ride. Looking back, I should have got a full size but didn't realize it then.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
10 Years Navy. Don't think it influenced my purchase.

Check, well whatever you are involved in i appreciate it. I only mentioned the other 2 because those are the only 2 from the Air Force I've had the privilege to work with.

22 years active duty Navy, joined in 85 and within a year had my first Toyota truck. Retired in 07 and am now in the civil service still working for the Navy. In all that time, 30+ years I've always owned a Toyota truck, just bought my 5th in last winter.

My service had nothing to do with my choice of trucks, I just like them and they've always done what I needed them to do.

Ha, yeah you got me. As far as the polling I feel like I should be able to vote twice since I work with the Army more than the Air Force
