I think I read they sold 20 minutes of commercials each epi.
I bet the guy on the pole is another Dwight had to bring back......I liked this episode but knew it was coming from reading the comics. Shame Dwight didn't take the chance on Daryl last season.

 

Confused, why are they having the "slaves" put the walkers on those polls? What does the purpose of the walkers there serve?

 

Slaves are expendable. The commercials have gotten outta control but it's to be expected given the greediness of AMC. They already cut the budget of TWD. All they care about is making $$. Quite the view of Sanctuary, I wanted me some of that sandwich though.

 

I think they are the "examples" of people that didn't fall in line. So they are there for people that know them to see. I was wondering that myself, and that was all I could think of.

 

When Dwight started pushing his bike around, was the wheel bent after the walkers fell from the overpass? Or did he wreck somewhere and I missed it?

 

It did look like a pretty tasty sandwich. It was just missing the bacon!

But, man was that a lot of work put in just to make that one sandwich. So much hustling, just for that moment.

I also think they are on the fence as a defense to attackers like the settlement in Fear the Walking Dead and yes I think the walker landed on Dwight's bike which is what broke the wheel spokes

 

I think the purpose of those walkers is to make a barrier to make it harder to get in/out. Looks like some and maybe all of them are people who tried to escape. The "slaves" then have to unmask the new ones and are like North Star put it an example of those who try to run off.

 

Anyone remember how Darryl got got captured? I'm drawing a blank, all I can hear in my head is that Easy Street song. He was with Glenn right?
