It didn't matter how much money the Broncos offered Oz, he wasn't staying a Bronco... He was too butt hurt about how last year went down so "letting him walk" is not a correct statement.

Have to agree. Still a young team gelling, but playing hard with talented players. They have made tons of mistakes, and squeaked by in several games. Winning the AFC West would be phenomenal and good enough this year, especially since the Chiefs are knocking on the door too.

The Raiders had a decent year last yr too, at least in terms of the progress over years past.

I'm guessing you mean letting Peyton reclaim the role when he was able to?

Yeah, even though it was the obvious correct choice because it lead to a Super Bowl. I think Brock's family/friends got to him too much. Brock would be playing great in Kubiak's system this year so i wish he would have stayed... You can see he isn't fairing too great in the QB reliant O'Brien offensive system

I'm an old school Broncos fan..1990s.

That said I said last yr when they beat the Patriots I think Brock might be the real thing at least in this system.

The end result was the desired one. I wonder if Brock would have had a better game than Manning though, I mean not many wouldn't have at that point honestly. Always easy to guess after the fact..

There are so many mediocre teams this season, I believe the Raiders have as good a shot as anybody. They man handled one of the best D's in the league.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
Yup. We're on the same page. Reminds me of the Raiders of yesteryear.

Absolutely. My goal for them last year was .500. Aside from the likes of Crabtreee, Kahlil Mack, Aldon Smith, (note, not even allowed to play this year), when I started seeing players like Seth Roberts (who the fuck is Seth Roberts?) and Donald Penn and Rivera and Walford and even Marquette King, I was like, oh, dis gone be gud...eventually.

This year, Richard. He is the kind of back they've needed for more than a decade. And all the others just keep getting better. When Aldon comes back....oooooooh.

And they need all this because Seabass is fading LOL.

Considering the only AFC team with a better record than the Broncs and Raiders were the Patriots, who have a pathetic division, and, well all the other divisions are a joke.

Oh dude. We can do it without cheating, too. Maybe shitloads of penalties, but not cheating.

IMO Raiders vs Patriots in Foxboro would be the only good nation-wide story for the NFL this season.

btw MLB had great story lines this year

    Whiney bitch Raiders fans

Spend 2 decades losing to everybody and everything, but the Pats must have been cheating because the ref made a legit call you didn't like in a playoff game 15 years ago.

No, that was just epically retarded officiating. I was talking about all the off-field malice-aforethought cheating against everyone since then.

    Wah.
The whole league cheats; there's not a single team out there that hasn't been busted for cheating over the years. But nobody cares because they all suck semi-consistently. The Pats have been dominant for the last 15 years, so whenever there's even a chance that they broke a rule everybody loses their minds because it gives them an excuse for their crappy team spending the last decade losing. If somebody had broken a story about Cleveland tampering with air pressure nobody would have batted an eye.
The Pats are the Yankees of the NFL right now. They're good consistently and they win a lot, so everybody hates them.

But that's cool. Up here in the Godless Frozen North we embrace the hatred. It keeps us warm. :stirthepot:

LIfelong Pats fan so I suffered through the lean years such as Rod Rust and Chuck Fairbanks led squads.
