What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

My wheels will be here tomorrow!! I've had the truck for a week today, lift is on, Windows tinted, cmc done, debadged, and grille is painted black (temporary solution while I'm waiting for my pro grille). Hoping to swap in LED headlight bulbs, Baja Designs Squadron sport fogs and put in my new headlight housings this weekend

 

Got some new shoes and tested them out on some trails this weekend. Also hard wired both my GoPro and Passport Radar Detector. Running the GoPro on a 5 minute loop as a dash cam. Working great so far.

 

Loaded up the KTM and took the toys out for some quality time.

 

Looks good ! Did your shell come like that or did you add the black wrap ?

 

Anyone know if 2017 Tundra TRD Pro wheels/tires will fit on 2016 Tacomas?!?

Nope.. Tundras are 5 lug, Tacoma's are 6.

 

It came that way, it's the ARE Overland - the black strip is a rhinoliner type material, supposed to add some extra protection in high stress areas, I just like how it breaks all of the grey color up

I noticed something put a dent in the passenger front door speaker grille. Anyone know if that is removable from the back of the door panel itself?

Is that the ARE overland topper. I was looking at that kind with the roof rack as well. I haven't found any prices though what do they run? Looks sharp for sure!

 

yeah it's the overland... there was a sale going on at the place I got mine back in March and it came to about $1750 - that was with the drop down front slider, pet screens, and yakima roof tracks. I added the cross bars myself later. I got a pretty good deal, but got a huge speeding ticket on my way to have it installed so it was a wash in the end lol
