In Québec they have that bulshit that the price on internet is the price the dealer sell the truck. No deling possible ??? Is this the same in the US ?

For the last 2 weeks I have been looking @ trading in my wifes 2008 Rav4 and have been by the Toyota dealerships looking at the 4runner and FJ as its replacement and they did not want to work with me at all. The FJ was a "specialty vehicle" and the 4runner was "Brand New" for 2010 and they said they were getting sticker price and didn't expect to be able to give a better deal for atleast another 6 to 8 months.. Well, today, I recieved no fewer than 15 calls from the same dealerships and they are working deals they wouldn't even think of less than 2 weeks ago so I am with the rest of the guys, NOW is the time if your looking because they are HURTING.. Just my 2 cents.

Not sure if its a rule but this is my experience...

...usually when you find it on the internet it is because they cant get any luck with it on the lot and after the internet ,if its used, it goes to the last resort which is sending it off for auction. Usually the internet price is their last resort price and they really arent willing to negotiate from it but its not impossible.Ive seen some leave vehicles on thier lots for over half a year and i had a friend say he bought one that had been there 11 months.

I just recently purchased a vehicle for my wife on the internet, between $5 and $6000 below Blue Book but it took us 6 months of looking around and I found that NONE of them wanted to budge even a $100 from the price on the internet. trust me i waited for 6 months to find the deal i found and drove 122 miles to get it. it was worth every penny though:)

Same in Newfoundland  I don't even know why they have salesmen.. The internet price is what I paid, No Deals around here and the wait is up to 2 months after the order is placed  Seems to me, at least in my area the Tacoma outsells all domestic and import midsized trucks combined.
