I agree. Connor and I were talking about that at Elvis. But 35s are so nice! Hahaha. I'll probably be sticking with 33-34, for now.

I think 285/75/17 is the perfect size for all around use. If I had 17's, that's what I would have done.
    The truth hurts

Pretty sure I've seen a 37x11.5 somewhere. Don't remember who makes it.

@a.smo yeah the wider tires tend to wander a lot more on the street...And are heavy as a hippo. That weight effects a lot more than just mpg. Its unsprung weight which is a new ball game on its own. Its also much harder on axles, u joints, driveshafts, etc. Different terrains also change what you want to run...

I never noticed a difference going from my 10.5 to 11.5s. I understand the unsprung weight and the difference on all the components. I was curious though more towards how it effects the truck as a DD with all the upgrades.

The tires being that wide. Like a 12.50 or wider it it wanders all over. Its like driving a boat. And That unsprung weight also changes how your suspension will react at speed. Not to mention the inertia of the 20 pounds extra at each corner. Will change how "maneuverable" or "agile" the truck feels on daily driving. And once you get it spinning, you also gotta worry about stopping it from spinning. The difference also plays a role in rain as well...

for 200, I'd go with the Vortex or Holosun. both are good inexpensive systems.

Definitely got a few other solicited responses stating that Vortex is a solid option without spending Aimpoint money. I saw the Holosun options and was leary of them, experience says they're decent quality?

I know in reality I should be going with Aimpoint or EOTech if I want something that will hold zero and get me close to sub MOA, I just can't justify spending as much on the glass as the rifle to get started. (First AR, so cute, I know, a virgin.) :D

Vortex for that budget, but if you can swing it then aimpoint for sure. those are my two

Primary arms red dots as well $90, or there advanced model for $170. I have an old version that I've never had trouble keeping zero on, aimpoint clone for the most part.
