First part of the test is done now I've got to wait for 3 hrs for the last part of the scan . Getting the IV of the contrast agent wasn't fun as this Marine hates needles LOL !!

Sorry I'm bored , sitting in the cafeteria drinking a lot of water at the VA waiting until 1230hrs . Gotta flush out the tracer agent. I had injected into me in Nuclear medicine

Just got back home and that was an interesting experience . After the gave me the IV this morning with the glow in the dark juice they did a blood flow test for the surrounding tissues of the knee

I was then told to come back in 3.5 hrs for 3 other tests . During that 3.5 hrs i was instructed to drink 3 bottles of water to help flush the contrast agent out of my system

Earlier this morning I had 3 cups of coffee plus a bottle of water . Lets just say my kidneys and bladder were working overtime

I guess this test was ok'd by my Doctor so now comes the long anticipated wait for the results . Next Monday is a CT scan of my knee and then wait for my Doctor to contact me with the results

Now its nap time for this old Marine , I got up at 0445hrs and right now I'm fighting a yawnfest

 

get some rest!
