What kind of splits are you doing for your workouts, and what rep schemes are you doing? I would avoid doing upper body two days in a row if it is your shoulders and elbows that are bothering you. For example, if you did chest n tris Monay night, don't do back n bis Tuesday night. Throw a leg day or a core day in between them. As far as rep schemes go, increase the weight, but reduce the number of reps. If you're doing 4 sets of 12 reps at x weight, add 20% and do 3 sets of 8 reps instead. It's not the stress put on the joint that causes tendinitis, but the overuse of it. Last thing: try glucosamine. I am not a huge supplement proponent but glucosamine has made a noticeable difference in the way my joints feel.

@zacharypaul89 Trump had a rally literally 5 minutes from my house last night. They had to start turning people away 2.5 hours before he even got there. The overpass closest to my house was literally shutdown due to traffic. People were parking 2-3 miles away and walking down a poorly lit, 2 lane country road, risking life and limb to try and get a look at "our next president."

Alright, third post in a row. I don't have internet at my house so I only have TW access at work, unless I want to burn data (FUCK VERIZON), so I have a lot to share...

Saturday at the gym there was a group of three guys benching. They are always at the gym doing the most absurd work outs (one time they were stand on two flat benches in the squat rack, the would put on a weight belt and hang a 45 pound plate from it, then get under the bar which had 135 on it, and squat so that the plate hanging from their belts was in between the two benches they were standing on barely breaking parallel) and filming them, wearing the douchey-ist clothes (stringers and leggings all day every day brah), and walking around with ILS on leg day. Whatever, to each their own, but I don't think any of them weigh over 175, and their arms look like spaghetti noodles. My point: whatever it is they're doing, it ain't fuckin workin. So, anyways, they were benching. They put 225 on the bar, and were doing AMRAP. None of them got over 5 reps. One guy was 1/4 repping, the other guy was bouncing so hard I was scared he was gonna crush his chest, and the last guy wasn't even getting one rep before he needed a spot. They would all get off the bench hyped af with their chests puffed out. 'Twas quite a scene...I just chuckled, went back to squatting, and thought "carry on fuckheads..."

What I do is log everything into MFP once just to get my numbers. Then I write my meals out on a post-it and keep a pic of it on my phone, so whenever I forget what I need to eat, it's right there in my phone. After a few weeks, you get accustomed to prepping the same meals each day and it'll just be second nature.

LOL! There's one guy who looks like he's either a rich white guy or Italian mafia,(has gold necklace) but he has a big ass gut that sticks out like he's pregnant and he does upper body only. He's pretty strong but always walks around for like 2 mins after he does his rep with his chest puffed out thinking he's a bad ass but that gut LOL.

I try. It to judge people cuz you know its planet fitness but dang dude, sometimes you can't help it.

I saw one guybsquatting yesterday but he was squaring like he was moving his bootay off to the left and finishing the squat in a normal position. Like he was doing the letter J. I'm thinking he has back or hip problems. It just looked funny. But at least he was doing squats.

I made a note on my phone and put a little green emoji check next to each meal as I've eaten it. Someone make me an app that does that for me and I'll pay you

Bean eaters...do you buy dry or canned? I was planning on eating 8oz twice a day so I cooked a 16oz can. I rinsed them first and then when I weighed them cooked it was only 9oz . I'm not trying to smash 2 cans of beans everyday :crapstorm:

Canned. I just wash them before heating them up because it supposedly washes a lot of the sodium off. I tried cooking dry beans once, but it takes forever compared to just microwaving canned beans.

I always rinse my canned beans to get all the sodium (or at least majority of it) out but it also rinses most of the juice which probably is what is causing my weight change here. I heated them up in a little sauce pan with ketchup/bbq sauce. I'm just going to eat the whole lot of them tonight with my last meal and call it even :notsure:

In other news, I absolutely crushed legs today. I usually do chest on Mondays (obv) but since I will probably have to miss tomorrow and Wednesday since I have this dumb tooth surgery I figured I better hit legs. I had the wobbles trying to get to the water cooler a few times.

I did leg press in the smith machine (where you lay on the ground and push it straight up). I don't know what the bar weighs but I put all of the 45s my gym has on it (only 6 :annoyed:) and did 4 sets of 8 (I did a lot of sets to get up to that weight too bc I had never done that before and wanted to get comfortable with the movement). The trainer came over to me a couple sets in and told me to be careful. I hit him with one of these

I did squats before that and mixed in lunges, leg ext, and leg curls then finished it off with calves. Since I'll be drugged up post op tomorrow I figured I wouldn't need to walk anyway.

Meal 5 was a struggle. Felt like man vs. food trying to get the last few bites down. I get a banana and milk before bed. Hopefully that will hold me until about 2:00 tomorrow when I come to from this "procedure". Need to minimize gainz lost
