    What's going on everyone :mudding:

Just joined the forum and looking to make some new friends. I am looking to buy a 2013 Tacoma 4 door V6SR5. I was wondering if there is anything I should be looking for, as would be myfirst truck. It looks clean, low miles, and good price. The only thing I've noticed it needs is new tires otherwise everything looks good and has minimal rust.

Lots of examples here of people who regretted their purchase because they settled for a different truck than what they really wanted. If you plan to offroad any, I'd fore sure get the 4x4 OR. Test drive and make sure everything works. Ask about service records and vehicle history. Is this a 1 owner? From dealer? All things to consider. Lets see some detailed pictuers....

Thsee are the photos from the dealers website. It is a 4x4. What kills me is I have an appointment today to check it out but they raised the price 2 grand ever since I made the appoinment online. The only thing I'm worried about is having problems... typically have bad luck with cars having issues for some reason...

I'd negotiate to at least the price they had originally or lower. As for problems that may arise, anything can be fixed and most of it you can find good examples here on tw. That's a nice looking truck man don't let the salesman talk you out of or into anything that sounds fishy.

Appreciate the feed back! I went and look at the truck when the dealer was closed so I know the bumper a a little ding, otherwise looks clean. I'm going to bring my brother in law who's a Toyota mechanic so he can look underneath and give me the low down..as for the price I'm gonna try to bring it down for sure.. Always wanted a taCo but if it's not his one, I'll keep looking!

Hopefully he will be a big help! Best of luck and remember, don't settle for anything you don't absolutely have to. If it doesn't feel right, walk. There will be others

    But it does look/sound promising!

closer to 80k miles you will have maintenance that will need to be done that will cost some money like waterpump/timing belt, possibly suspension depending on how it was taken care of. Nothing to stop you from a buy but to be aware of.

So after browsing every possible used car website, I came across this beauty :taco:. It is a 2014 Tacoma SR5 V6 in Barcelona Red Metallic with a graphite interior. It has 29,038 miles going for 25,399. I'm taking a personal day off work to go look at it because it looks very promising, plus it is certified. Any thoughts on the price? Any major issues with this year/model??

Certified means absolutely nothing unfortunately. Is it 4x4? That would be a high price difference if it wasn't IMO.

Welcome. I love my Barcelona red taco. Any idea on what your first mod will be? I recommend relocating the 7 pin. I snapped mine the first week I had the truck.
