Once I get that optic, I could really use some help sighting it in, I'm a total newb on zero'ing a scope.

 

It's good to be home! Need to send some lead downrange ASAP!

The Vortex and the newer primary arms dot are pretty nice. I have the PA and like it. Or step up to the Trijicon MRO which I personally like better. Seems less like looking down a tube like the other smaller dots.

I could help sight it in however I won't go to the Miller rd area on a weekend.

 

I typically have Fridays off, if that works?

Oh, except to add that I'll probably have some 37x13.5 on 18 take offs if anyone wants to test fit. Looking into fresh rubber.

Talking to an IT department at a school. They said they are using Galaxy Note 8's for all of their students.

I informed them that the Galaxy Note 8 hasn't been released yet. The guy swears up and down that ALL of their students have a Galaxy Note 8. I ask him to give me the model number of the device.

He says "P3100"


P3100... That's a fucking Galaxy Tab 2 that came out in 2012! How the fuck did he confuse this with a Galaxy Note 8?!?!

 

For the money, Vortex is a solid option, my agency has actually approved the use of them on our patrol rifles. I like the aimpoints and ACOGs but for a starter and a plinker, you're not likely to break either one of them. I have a couple of holosuns on some carbines, they work good. hold zero well.
