I discussed the -121-Dakars (extended, plus "Dakar mods" with Micah in PMs, and frankly, they still leave a good 2 inches on down travel on the table. I'll be calling Micah soon to put in a custom order that has more travel but doesn't require 12 inch + relocates.

Does your A pillar mount sit flat?

Right now I'm more concerned with ride quality than travel. My stock leafs are pretty much shot to shit.

What did they recommend for a leaf pack to optimize the shocks? Did he have any suggestions?

    It does.

But I kinda made it easier for it when I was tapping my pilot for the three holes. You put in plastic molly fastener things, and I put a ish ton of silicon in/around/on before i screwed it on. I have read that people use double sided tape for the bracket and I can see why it works, the fender mounts are solid. But since I like to run into every tree in the forest, I made sure to mount mine properly.

I went the double stick route and mine pealed up. From the looks of it it's because it's not sitting perfectly flat. I don't know if I need to make the holes bigger and move it back or if it's just off.

I took forever lining up the template and measuring like a million times.

Oh then the molly's would have made that not a issue, it is flat enough. Once I had my fender holes and put the studs in, was super easy to line the A pillar with some tape on it and a sharpie. I just outlined the plate that I installed first.
