Honestly that's what most people should've done. The enthusiasts on here practically replace everything on their truck with aftermarket stuff any way. Should've saved a couple bucks.

there's a few things you get on the OR that would cost way too much to put into a sport
    Crawl Control
    MTS
    brake booster
    rear locker
    a trac

I was thinking of going the route of sport and just add mods for off roading since DC off road wasn't originally offered here in canada for the 2016 model.
adding a locker alone with ARB would've cost upwards of $4000 after you consider parts labour and the needed compressor.

If I read your post correctly it looks like your from Canada,Tacoma sales in Canada are much less than in the U.S so it's difficult to make a comparison of dealer stocks. Also Most areas of Canada have a lot of off roading options compared to certain areas like the Midwest. I'm not making an argument that one sells more than the other overall, I'm making the argument that in some areas one truck will do better than other areas depending on the demand for that type, at the end I don't care what this truck sells for at the end and I did not buy it for resale but I was just making a point that it all depends on the location. Pros in my area are selling for msrp and I saw a few for under msrp, go to California and that truck is demanding 5k over. Location

Real Tacoma owners, can look directly at the sun. Getting blinded by the Sun is for weak humans, who actually should be driving a Ridgeline, instead they floss their masculinity in a Taco Sport.

One of my friends just bought a ridgeline. I told him don't worry he can call me when he gets stuck with his minivan on the trails LOL.

I really like that it ties into the intake like a ram air system to make the sport model feel sportier.

    ...wait, nvm.

Ridgeline owners don't go on trails. They drive to the starbucks. Order their frapacinno on mobile app from their Iphone7Plus. As they drive to the store, they call their Tacoma buddy. Tacoma buddy meets them at the Starbucks with his K02 and hoodscoop.

Ridgeline drivers then shows him how he quickly got two coffee by mobile order, and says in exchange for coffee can he be a passenger on a trail in the Tacoma.

They do trails all day in their Tacoma. They get stuck. A guy in a OR/PRO Taco saves their butt, since they don't know how to use the 4wd on the Sport, and they don't have wifi or lte connection to you tube "how to 4wd first time as a BRO"

After OR/PRO saves them, Sport Taco drives back to the Starbucks, hops the curb with his K02, and drops his friend to his Ridgeline, who then goes home to his BBW wife and they live happily every after, when he spurns all the stories of their off road adventures.

I'm usually wearing my sunglasses when I'm driving, not storing them.

When I do need to store them there's plenty of room in my center console bin. I guess sport owners store other things like tampons, lipstick, makeup and such so they need additional storage for glasses

Thus we like the exclusive color of the PRO. It allows me to NOT associate with the poor non Pro taco owners, and treat them unequally just by the color of their truck

    lmao
I was going to get one, but for the price a Pro would've cost me I'll be able to build a more capable OR.
I wish they weren't as expensive as they are.
