That was my point. They have a "-121 Dakar" option that "they have had no problems with" for years. But they lack downtravel to really match the Dakars. I ran through several ideas with them via IM, including Tundra shocks based on some conclusions I came to looking at the King site on OEM travel numbers. I ran some of this my Jason, too, and he indecently also looked at Tundra shocks, but they would still need to be modified.

So I am about to say fuck it, Micah, here are the numbers and valving I want, charge me the custom fee and make it happen. It will likely involve custom length tubes and/or piston rods, plus custom rod ends depending on details. If I do, I'll have a new spec to share with you chaps.

Going to need it for when you go to Vegas for those Raider games right?

I thought the signs from the last game were awesome. Basically telling the Raider management "f-you. We're not going to Vegas".

I see what you're saying now, I misunderstood.

That would be pretty nice to have a custom spec. I'd have them give them a one off name too and demand royalties. Because dem beeshes gunna cost some major dinero.

Ordered the coil overs yesterday, got a call that they are shipping by end of day today. Not a bad reach around, errr turn around.

I helped fund the Kickstarter they had going to pay for the plane that flew around the stadium with the banner that said "Vegas - If you build it, we won't come".

Not too bad, I think an additional $200 for the pair. We can call them DDDs. Dick's Dakar Dampers. Or to appeal to 3rd genners, iKings. Actually, I'll forbid that they ever make any for them. Not like any of them would even know or care, because they are too busy trying to get their dented bumpers fixed under warranty. IYKWIM.

I stopped being a football and raider fan when they moved away the first time. Should have never let them back.

AW JESUS FUCK DON'T GO THERE.

Besides, the San Francisco market lost their team, so the NFL won't approve it.

@Porter707 I'll try and get your speaker up to you soon. Maybe I'll head up that way for a hike and some grub one of the upcoming weekends and I'll drop it off.

What he said...I can't find anything on this closure. Wonder if it had anything to do with the fire. Last time I was there the ranger mentioned that the site was also under closure warning for people not packing out their shit and making illegal fires...

    EDIT: Found this
    http://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/lpnf/alerts-notices/?cid=stelprdb5347980

Looks like it was caused by an illegal campfire...

Nice. Seems like ad planes are pretty popular way to get management's attention. Look what happened with the Niners. Oh wait, they ignored it :)
