We have a 3rd on the maybe. I still do not have a Tacoma yet but it does changes things. I am not sure if my 5 and 3 year old, who still are in boosters will fit in the back seat of a DC Tacoma with an infant.
I may opt for a Toyota land Cruiser 100 series.

Kids are great. No doubt about that but the premise of my post is to find out how well a Tacoma will seat 3 little children in the back seat. That's what I am considering the Land Cruiser.

Sorry for getting carried away with the kids, when mine were little they didn't have a double cab truck. I had an extended cab and the car seats didn't work. You might be better off with the cruiser for a while.

Mine are 10(girl), 8(boy) and 5(boy). They fit fine, even when we were using 2 boosters. Thinking about adopting a 4th but not sure yet. What I am sure of is that a Land Cruiser is a horrible vehicle to drive if you're more than 4 feet tall. My wife has an 04 Discovery and I absolutely HATE that vehicle with a white hot passion. It's a terrible design (seat adjustments, arm rests, steering wheel adjustments.........having to remove the front grill to replace a freakin' headlight bulb and I could go on for days but I wont). It's nice and roomy, but to be honest......sometimes I'd rather just walk than drive that car. Anyways...hope this helps :D!

I had an infant in a car seat and 5 year old in a booster chair when I first got my 2000 Tundra access cab and they fit fine. I think it would be a bit tight with 2 toddlers and 1 infant in a double cab Tacoma but I think it would work.

I just recently upgraded from the Tundra to a double cab Taco last month because both of my kids were having a hard time fitting in the back seat of the Tundra. My youngest (boy) is now 9 and my oldest (girl) is 14 but she's already 5' 10" so, the double cab was a must.
