Caring for an older dog is one of the most difficult things I have ever done in my life. I never had kids so I cant compare but this has brought me and my fiancee to the point of break and back on many times, but i would do it all over again if I could. This dog just powers through everything and loves life still. Sure shes slower, hears a little less, sees a little bit worse, and needs custom lunches, but its all worth it to see her enjoy the last bit of her life happy. Honestly how do you eat food so fast and beast like that you get it all over your face and even on your ear lol

I'm sure Oreo appreciates everything you guys do for her.
It's good that she can still get around on her own and has a good appetite.

thats 'bored dog taking out his frustrations'. that 'stage' will likely never end unless you spend a lot more time with them and train them to do something useful with themselves.

Always good to have a big sister drag you up the hill! After only 5 miles today, he was toast! Under the truck was a cozy spot for him!

Dogs definitely need to be exercised twice a day. Especially working dogs.

My baby girl. Lost her last month just before her 10th birthday. Putting her down was the hardest thing I have ever had to do.

She was the 7th dog that I have had to put down over the years. But she was my doggie soulmate.
