Your gonna hate me then. I changed jobs. The jobs I left was about 3 miles door to door. The new one is about 4 miles door to door.

hate absolutely not! envy yes! i gave up 20k a year for the job closer to home so i had time with my girls. i was coaching 2 soccer teams plu scouts, and my girls were at that very active time in their lives. i never had a dad, no pity his loss, so i figured i only had 1 chance to do it right. it was the best decision i ever made other than marrying my wife.

 thanks and i'd do it again without a second thought some things are worth more than money. i ended up being a babysitter for alot of dads that just wanted to drop their kids off and run while i got to watch them learn and grow. they may have made alot more financially than i did but the time i got to spend with my girls and other kids was worth way more than the lost income.

I did the night time with the kiddo but had to have a roof and food. She knew the score early on. The thing I regret and have talked with her more than once was not having more weekends free. Time sure flew too.

i gave up the 65 and 70 hour weeks to do this. there were plenty of times doing soccer 7 days a week and scouts on top of it that i would get very frustrated especially during deer season and thought my god won't this ever end and give me a break. then it did. they're gone.now we just live, it's quiet, and i miss them

I love Culpepper. But the edge of the Blue Ridge is real nice too!

There's no question I could live in Culpeper, and love it... But after 28 years of marriage, and 5 houses, this is the first house we've ever agreed on. Some she wanted, some I wanted, but we finally agreed... So it must be Kismet.

I'm posting from my phone since the computer decided to shrink the screen again. Well that's the only way I know how to describe it. The screen size is the same but all the text shrinks. It did it several weeks ago and I couldn't get it back so it's been hard to read. Tonight it made it so small I can't read it. It has to be a tw setting because everything else is regular size. Other than being able to talk to you folks I hate a damn computer

Once every 6 days got to wear this hat on the USS America in addition to running half the main engineering spaces. Never did figure out NAVY stands for Never Again Volunteer Yourself LOL. In addition was one of half a dozen NBC Warfare trainers for 5,000+ people on board during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Yeah I volunteered for that too.
