XP vs. HID

has anybody seen these or used these as replacement bulbs in their hella 500s? The description says almost as bright as HIDs, and I would be more than willing to sacrifice a tiny bit of performance for the price. I'm trying to replace 4 bulbs, so yeah, this would make a huge difference in what I pay.

These are just regular 55w bulbs with a blue tint to them, nothing special, won't even touch the brightness of HIDs. You get what you pay for.

 

Not going to be like HIDs.

What ballast? Those are just regular H3 bulbs. The black thing you see in the pic is just part of the packaging.
