Ive had mine on the taco about a week now and my other truck for 5 years, great in the snow... Definetly agree about feeling the weight of the tires. Only lost about 1mpg so far, should even out. I noticed more of a mpg loss after installing all my lightbars! Ill just add it up to being less aerodynamic!

Today I did nothing but since Oct 29th. I bought this baby for my 30th Bday present to myself! Can't really beat that for a present and keep it clean. The past week and half has been filled with some small projects here and there. Going to order a Fox 2.5 suspension tomorrow and install some puddle lights, glove box & center console LEDs and try to figure out the best way to rerun the USB port or add another one in the glove box. Any tips on doing those things feel free to PM me!

Got tired of always having to get out to check if the tailgate got left down. Tonneau makes it impossible to see from the cab. So I rigged up an indicator light on the overhead console that comes on when the tailgate is opened. 20161107_205807.jpg 20161107_205745.jpg

I always just shift it into R and see if the camera shows the pavement or whatevers behind me. cool mod tho maybe add it to the 3rd gen mod thread for the guys who dont have the backup cam, might come in handy for them.

LOL well its kind of like that... since there's only one other rear bumper of this style ever made and its on Xoverlands Tacoma there really arent any instructions... that's where i come in lol i'll be doing a full write up of step by step installation with pictures for CBI so they can provide actual instructional pamphlets to aid with future buyers... very excited to get this all done up!

    Hey Guys,
Has anyone had the triangle symbol come up but there is no messages? I have a call in to my service advisor but thought I would see if anyone else had this happen.
The only weird thing that happen today, I haven't driven the truck in over a week and when I backed it up to get it out of the shop it lurched a couple times pretty bad. Worse than before the tranny TSB was done. I haven't had any issues since the TSB. I drove it to my Granny's and noticed when I left her house that symbol was there. I checked the manual and it says a message will tell me what's wrong but there isn't any. We checked all the fluids (the tranny was checked during the TSB) and everything is fine.
    Thanks!!

This happened to me. The triangle symbol came on right after I turned the truck on and was on the whole drive. It wasn't until I turned off the engine and turned it back on. It told me I was due for service soon....like 600 miles away from 10k.

as much as i would have loved to do that i felt i don't really hit rocky trails that much and would be fine with the steel rear stock replacement set up... plus they haven't designed a high clearance one for the 3rd GEN yet so i could only imagine how long that would have taken to develop lol two and a half months for minor tweaks was long enough for my impatient ass lol
