I was out wheeling yesterday and hit a rock. passenger side tire is now severely cambered like this when looking from the front /== l

the drivers side is normal and that image is on the left.
the passenger's side is the image on the right.

you can see the upper control arm on the pass. side is currently touching the tire and that is a stock sized temp replacement its still pushing on. the 35x12.5 that was on there blew out from the rubbing.

i've looked and looked and can't figure out what is bent. nothing is loose or broken that i can see and the only thing i think could be bent is the actual spindle arm connecting to upper control arm.

anyone see this? anyone do this? it's hard to get exact ASymmetrical pictures but what do you guys see? Im stumped.

Spindle may be your issue but I see some black splatter everywhere on your passenger side as well. I've been staring at it and can't think of anything else that could warrant the UCA to touch the tire.

How did this impact exactly happen?

Spindles are usually the first thing that bends and appears to be what is bent in your picture. Although, it's very hard to tell with a picture.

Get a new set of spindles and get some spindle gussets on there before it happens again.

Yep, that lower portion of the spindle is cracked. The bracket is cracked as well.

@RAD my rock slider clipped a rock right behind the tire. it felt like an anchor dropped and it yanked the wheel hard right. the way the tire is leaning all i can think of is when the rock slider got hung up the truck had enough momentum that it wanted to pivot itself but the wheel was already pinned up against the rock and the spindle arm? maybe flexed. i thought maybe the upper control arm points could be bent but i dont know if this would be the outcome nor did i notice that much carnage. the black stuff is rubber from the old tire.

Yeah that's the part that looks off to me too, spindle it looks like?

I was just having a conversation the other day with someone who's rock slider kickout got hung up on a tree branch or something jutting up from the ground and caused some gnarly damage to the body of his truck. Started to wish I had gotten fill plates now after hearing that and now this.
