ruptured disc in my neck/upper back!!!!

yeah......hot grease really sucks.....i still got the scars from that!!! keep the pain pills poppin.....definitely!!

 

To keep you up to date all they did is take X-Rays today I didn't have time to hang around I was getting my little girl from her mom. I have an appointment at the end of the week.

 

well, let us know what they say man!!! hell, im waiting on insurance confirmation that the place can go ahead with my mri...........waiting sucks!!! and the percosets suck too!!!

finally heard from the insurance company and the people setting up my mri..........im getting it done on tuesday,the 29th!!! finally!!! bout time they finally put something in stone!!!

 

Yay! I spent the morning dealing with insurance--they do suck sometimes. Here's hoping for GOOD news this time!

although...it does make me kinda stir crazy some............im used to moving about and keeping pretty damn busy.......the last time i layed around like this was when i was lazy and in high school!!

good thing tigerfan00 is coming over tomorrow so we can work on his truck and do a few things to mine...............im kinda about to go crazy!! but im still gonna take it easy though.......gonna more or less be the "project overseer" and teacher!!! and we'll have some beers!!

 

Have you thought about letting tigerfan use his taser on you as a sort of electro-shock therapy? I hear it's VERY effective at relaxing muscles.....

man.........its aggravating as hell!! worked on my truck and tigerfan00's truck all day saturday, and i felt it all yesterday and today. mri is tomorrow........but the damn followup aint till friday. them people are slow as hell. i need better pain killers!! the ones i got aint working anymore!

How are things going with this?

Just two weeks ago I developed tingling thumb & finger on my right hand from my neck. I can actually force the tingles by tilting my head back. I went to the Doc 2 weeks ago - and he said, give it a month and if it doesn't go away....go back and they'll take an MRI. No other signs and nobody in my family has this problem. Weird....but worried what it might be.... I almost think its getting worse.

My husband has it... C5/C6 slipped disc. He got a shot (cortizone?) in the area and it got better but he still feels it and deals with it daily.

Curious to know if I have to stop working my upper arms/shoulders (weight lifting) when I go to the gym. Does this help or hinder??
