HBOs WestWorld (Possible Spoilers)

It may be possible he gets that a lot when he's there, it makes sense as to why he was pissed off at those guys for doing that. Only time will tell

 

I'm liking where this is going, who do you think grabbed the behavior analyst Elsie? Maeve is going to stir some shit up now. She was pretty smart to begin with. Teddy is also becoming a bad ass, wonder how long he will live this time.

 

I think it was the Hemsworth brother, because he "takes" orders from Theresa and Elsie says that it was her that used the computer last

As I watched the story unfold a bit more, I am starting to theorize that Arnold may have created a host of himself, and uploaded his entire being into it. He was such a great programmer as explained by Ford, that I am wondering if that is what Arnold did before his passing. Let's say that is what happened, the reason for all the host tampering could be done by the host version of Arnold. All the secrets and knowledge of Westworld would be imparted into this host.

Science fiction has pondered this type of scenario before, if the human body and brain is an bio-organic computer, then is it possible to upload our consciousness into a physical computer, to live forever?

 

Would explain why they hear his voice too, him talking to them through the network.

 

I think that's a movie?

I'm surprised I didn't see this sooner but it was a twist that made sense after the fact. Very interesting, who else I wonder.

 

My roommate called it and I didn't think it was. But damn what a huge plot twist. I want to think that maybe some of the board members are Hosts as well. It seems that Theresa was double crossed by both the board and Bernard

 

I had a theory something like this was going on. They keep referencing the board having an agenda that isn't "just guys playing cowboys", or some such comment, meaning there is a hidden agenda. If you've seen Future World, the sequel to the West World movie, then you know what my suspicions of what this hidden agenda is. But I won't voice that here in case you haven't seen Future World.

 

I haven't seen either of the movies, but want to. Maybe sometime when I can find them.

But I also found somewhere that was saying that Bernard said: "Hosts talk to Hosts and try to practice talking so they seem more human." Then Theresa said "Is that what you're doing" I didn't even pick up on it then

 

This past episode was pretty good and man, I am just such a fan of Anthony Hopkins. That guy is truly a treasure, an acting god! Here is a good article from Vanity Fair that gives a lot of credence to the theory of us viewing many timelines and how they connect. Lots of gifs in the article to get us on track too.

I know Futureworld is on Amazon Prime but you may have to rent Westworld to watch. There might be a poor copy on YouTube though.
Both movies feel dated and cheesy compared to HBO's Westworld. No real spoilers to be had but future world might get you thinking about theory's.

 

I was reading that too, the different timelines is something that hadn't crossed my mind until then. I'm really liking having to figure things out and worrying about what is to come next.
