    Flight back is about 7:00pm or so tomorrow. I finish my course about 3:30pm tomorrow. In Clearwater for class. If its works out- perhaps i can meet you at Capitol Grill- next to restoration hardware- near Tampa airport for drinks/ dinner (My treat).

    Would still need a quick ride to airport. :)

    Here is what I have learned:
    The device gets can get up to 1000-1200 celsius. So it may cut a beer can.

    Typically used at 100-250 celsius.

    The thermal "footprint" is only .0083 square millimeters. :eek:

    By the way- human tissue vaporizes at 250 celsius!

    question for all you wheel gurus

    currently running stock trd offroad alloys, (I think these are 16x7, 5.25" backspace, +32mm offset) with 1.25" spidertrax

    contemplating a set of gently used :rofl: wheels that are 16x8, 3.5" backspace, with -25mm offset.

    where would these put me, out a bit? how much ?

    trying to figure this out is like trying to follow a wiring diagram to me

    Quick notes as I am in this class:

    25mm is one inch. A negative means wheel is pulled away from center of truck.

    32mm is 1.25". Positive pulls wheel into center of truck.

    An 8" wheel is actually 9" outermost portion of wheel to outermost. This means centerline on 8" wheel is 4.5"

    3.5 backspace, 8" wheel would appear concaved on outerface (pushing tire out.) -25mm ofset moves it out another inch.

    The Spidertrax spacers @1.25", effectively reverse the +32mm backspace of oem wheel.
